  • About Digital Mind

    Digital Mind is a Romanian provider of automation services, helping consultants streamline accounting and auditing processes. Their platform integrates digitalization and automation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service quality. As a product of Crowe Romania, Digital Mind supports high-quality audits and accounting workflows in a complex and highly regulated environment.

  • Objective

    The objective was to support Digital Mind in improving the user experience and interface of their accounting and automation applications. Our focus was on simplifying complex workflows, enhancing visual clarity, and ensuring accessibility for different user roles. By refining these applications, we aimed to reduce human error, improve usability, and increase overall efficiency for accounting and auditing teams.

  • The Process

    Our collaboration started with AuditXpert, an application designed to centralize multiple audit processes that were previously spread across Excel files and disconnected screens.

    We worked closely with Digital Mind’s specialists to:

    • define clear user flows
    • consolidate complex data into a unified interface
    • design role-based access for partners, managers, and specialists
  • A key part of the process was transforming large, Excel-like datasets into structured, easy-to-navigate screens, while preserving the flexibility accountants need in their daily work. We also enhanced data visualization through an interactive dashboard, improving both usability and decision-making.

  • The Process

    Later, Digital Mind approached us to improve ContaX, their platform that centralizes automation processes, including Romania’s e-Factura system.

    Although the platform was already functional, it lacked visual consistency and user-friendliness:

    • some elements were not intuitive to interact with
    • certain customizations were visible to clients they were not relevant for
    • workflows needed better clarity and hierarchy
  • Our work on ContaX focused on:

    • improving visual design and interaction patterns
    • refining navigation and usability
    • ensuring the platform remained flexible while being intuitive for all clients

For 4–5 years, we have continuously supported Digital Mind by refining UI/UX for new applications, improving existing workflows, and adapting interfaces to new regulatory and technical requirements—especially in areas where clarity, accuracy, and process understanding are critical.
